How much will it cost?

You already know that you need some PAT testing done – but how much will it cost? There’s no easy answer, but I’ll try to give a rough estimate here…

First – count up how many appliances you have. Anything with a plug on it. Add an extra couple… there’s always one or two things we’ve forgotten.

More than 20 items?

For the site visit, including the first 20 tests, I have a minimum charge of £38.

Each test after that is charged at £1.60 – so if you have 25 items in all… £38 + (5 x £1.60)… total £46.

Please note: These prices are for Dumfries – there may be an extra charge to cover travel time and fuel for businesses outside Dumfries.

Industrial testing?

The above rates are for commercial and domestic appliances. Industrial testing, such as 110v or 3 phase equipment is charges at an hourly rate in 30 minute increments. Please get in touch for details.
